School visits

In association with SACRE, we organise school visitors drawn from multiple religions who tell children about their faith in support of the RE curriculum. It's great for the children to have a real encounter with an authentic person of faith! Visitors answer children's questions about their personal experience, and often give presentations about their faith, tell stories from their scriptures and explain artefacts and festivals.

Visits are co-ordinated by Welwyn Hatfield Inter Faith Group, Herts County SACRE (Standing Advisory Committee for Religious Education) and Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council.
